MWM held a public protest Jalsa at Yadgar-e-Shohda, made demand to remove names of Shia Ulema from Schedule IV.

Wahdat News (Skardu) Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen held a public protest jasla to protest against ban on speech, freezing of account, suspension of citizenship, unjust placement under Schedule IV of patriotic Pakistanis and other oppressions and deprivations particularly, Allama Sheidkh Mohsin Ali Najafi, Allama Ameen Shahidi, Hujjat ul Islam Mirza Ali, Sheikh Nayyar Abbas Mustafvi, Sheikh Fida Hussain Abidi, Allama Maqsood Ali Domaki, Sheikh Ali Haider, Sheikh Muhammad Ali, Ilyas Siddique, Sebtain Shirazi at Yadgar e Shohda. Uelma of Gilgit, Rondhu, Khurmang, and Shigar attended the Jalsa. Thousands of people attended the jalsa and made heavy sloganeering. This public gathering will prove a public referendum against the continued state exploitation and tyranny against Millat Tashayyu.

On this occasion, Head of MWM GB Agha Ali Rizvi, MWM Gilgit leader Sheikh Ali Haider, Sheikh Mubarak Ali, Agha Abbas Moosvi, Abdullah Haideri, Safeer Abbas, Sheikh Hassan Johri, Ibrahim and Sheikh Ahmad Ali Noori addressed the Jalsa. Leaders of Paksitan Tehreek e Insaf, Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Peoples Party Shaheed Bhutto group, Imamia Students Organization and other parties also attended the protest Jalsa.

Addressing to the protest Jalsa, speakers said that we fully support the continued operation Zarb-e-Azab of Pakistan Army against terrorists. National security institutions have tried to stop terrorism through National Action Plan. However, current government is taking political revenge under the cover of National Action Plan and it has damaged state security plan which is proven by recent incidents. They said that Nawaz government has become a security risk for Pakistan. This government thought its tyrant acts have severely damaged national credibility. Open contact of leaders of ruling party with terrorist parties and meeting is like shredding the national action plan. He said that direction of national action plan has turned towards peaceful Ulema and citizens. Government should redress the apprehensions of the Millat.

Speakers said that incidents of terrorism are continue in the country and government apathy is a point of concern. Attack on Quetta police college is a question mark on national action plan. Continuous attack on Azadari particiulary in Karachi is a failure of security institutions. Tehy said that like in other parts of the country, Conduct of Gilgit-Baltisitan government is partial and prejudiced. Ban on Day of Hussain and peaceful Ulema should be condemned as much as possible. Only to please its masters, Provincial government have pushed the region in problems and deprivation particularly in protects of Gilgit-Skardu road, constitutional rights, Economic Corridor. Government should abandon its tyrant policy and should adopt such a policy which establish an atmosphere of law and order in the region. Otherwise, the non-ending series of protest will continue.

A resolution was presented the end of protest Jalsa. It is said in the resolution that this magnificent gathering is fully supporting continuous operation of Pakistan Army against terrorists and it demands that operation Zarb-e-Azab should be expanded across the country. We are standing shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army in continuous operation against terrorism. They made demand that Allama Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, Allama Ameen Shahidi and other hundreds of peaceful patriotic Pakistanis should be put off from Schedule IV and unjust restrictions imposed on the basis of political and religious vendata should be removed. Terrorist attacks on Azadari majalis in Karachi are a question mark on the performance of security institutions. Congregations made demand of arrest of terrorists.

It is further said in the resolutoin that we condemn the anti-region policies of Gilgit-Baltistan region. We made demand to ensure the construction of Gilgit-Skardu road and Baltistan university. There should not be no more deceit with public over the name of constitutional rights. GB should be given its share in Economic corridor and process of usurping the lands of public over the name of Khalisa Sarkar should be ended. It is announced in the congregation that ban on Day of Hussain in educational institutions is a shameful act and this reflects the mentality of the government. We are not ready at all to accept this illegal ban. They made demand that activities of proscribed terrorist outfits should be banned. Balance policy should be ended and peaceful missing persons should be recovered. It is said in the protest Jalsa that this representational congregation announce that if apprehensions of Millat are not removed then the series of protest will continue.
