Wahdat News (Gilgit) Provincial government has hurt the sentiments of zealous people of Gilgit-Baltisan under the pretext of promotion of abject acts as culture. Involvement of members GB assembly in ‘Girls supplying’ gang is a stigma on Gilgit-Baltistan. This matter should be inquired immediately and God forbid if the report of the newspaper is true then involved members GB assembly should be suspended and they should be given exemplary punishments.

Deputy Secretary General Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Dr; Ali Gohar said that people of Gilgit-Baltisan are not trustee of abject traditions rather they are trustee of Islamic traditions and they love religion. People of Gilgit-Baltistan in themselves are models of courage, honor, and prestige. Those bad acts which are common in other areas, by the grace of Allah, are not present in Gilgit-Baltistan. However, report published in ‘Daily Times’ has put our heads down in shame.

He said that people have send their elected representatives in assembly not for that reason that they sell the honor and prestige of the region. If this report is only an allegation then government should take legal action against aforementioned newspaper, otherwise, people will themselves hold these members of GB assembly accountable. Provincial government by not taking disciplinary action against those who sell their conscious has already given the proof of their dictatorship and animosity. Now we have to see that what will this provincial movement will do with those who raze the honor of the region to ground.

He said that Foreign agenda is pursued under the name of development and prosperity in Gilgit-Baltistan and government is deliberately black-mailing by the hands of anti-state elements .
